Population of India will over take China

Today I was reading a post which made me wonder why we cant reduce our population and why don't we control population we carry in our country. 
I think answer of this question is in the heart of every single Indian. They well never let this happen because they think giving more birth to kids make their family stronger and when they grow up they will earn more money for the family but what they don't realize doing this they are putting our country in mess. As per the recent census, following are the conclusion concluded-



India's population has grown by 181 million people over the past decade to 1.21bn, according to the 2011 census. If check the reports more people live in India than in the United States, Indonesia, Brazil, Pakistan and Bangladesh combined. 

Our economy is growing but what does it give to 90% of population, nothing. Rich people getting richer and poor people getting poorer day by day, but what our government is going to do about this, actually nothing. Why because more poor people more votes and more corruption.
What happen if we use the policies china used in past to control their population. 

What i want to know, what people of India will do if government implement this law.( doom's day for the government)

But i know one thing if we don't do this in near future we are on course to overtake China as the world's most populous nation by 2030, but its growth rate is falling, figures show. China has 1.3bn people.

Indians now make up 17% of the world's population. Uttar Pradesh remains its most populous state, with 199 million people.


Not to forget The census also reveals a continuing preference for boys - India's sex ratio is at its worst since independence.

Note-- They all want to have a boy rather than a girl.
According to the 2011 census, there were 914 girls for every 1,000 boys under the age of six, compared with 927 for every 1,000 boys in the 2001 census.
"This is a matter of grave concern," Census Commissioner C Chandramauli told a press conference in the capital, Delhi. So our government replied and said said they would review all their policies towards this issue, which they admitted were failing. Which means they will do nothing.

Question remains for me how would Hindus and Muslims will react if we apply birth control.
