Agra – Agra is undoubtedly the most famous travel destination in India
with Tajmahal, Agra fort, Fatehpur Sikri, Itmad-Ud-Daulah, Akbar’s
Tomb, and many other tourist attractions. Taj Mahal is the one of the
Seven Wonders of the World and a World Heritage Site. Taj Mahal was
built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It
is one of the most beautiful monument ever build by a man in the whole
world. Agra Fort was built by Akbar Agra Fort is a World Heritage
Site. Fatehpur Sikri was also built by Akbar and made it his capital.
Fatehpur Sikri is also the World Heritage Site. Agra is situated on the
bank of River Yamuna. It is about 200 km from Delhi.
Khajuraho – Khajuraho is the second most visited place by foreigners in India
after Taj Mahal. There are many Hindu and Jain temples in Khajuraho
famous for their erotic sculpture. The Khajuraho group of monuments is a
UNESCO World Heritage Site. Khajuraho is located in Chhatarpur
District of Madhya Pradesh State 620 km from Delhi.
Goa – Goa is visited by many domestic and foreign tourists. Goa is famous for beaches. Basilica of Bom Jesus and other churches of Goa are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Goa also has rich flora and Fauna, which is classified as a biodiversity hotspot.
